Speaking of refugees is surely in order these days. 

The Cover page of newspapers all over the world dedicate a space to the phenomenon that is “invading” our daily lives, and it makes sense. 

Between government agreements and legislative decrees, the attention given to refugees is becoming more and more prominent.

 

Sabato del rifugiato a Castel Volturno.Il sabato del rifugiato è iniziato, la mattina del 17 giugno, dalla chiesa avventista di Castel Volturno. Hope Channel Italia ha aperto una finestra che ha permesso alle chiese avventiste europee e in altri paesi di collegarsi e partecipare in prima persona al servizio religioso speciale dalla comunità campana, composta da rifugiati e migranti.

Il programma è iniziato alle ore 11.00 con i saluti dei vari organizzatori che hanno provveduto a dare visibilità alla giornata tramite la televisione web, la radio, facebook, ecc.

June, 17 - part I Speaking of refugees is surely in order these days. The Cover page of newspapers all over the world dedicate a space to the phenomenon that is “invading” our daily lives, and it makes sense. Between government agreements and legislative decrees, the attention given to refugees is becoming more and more prominent. A European delegation of the Seventh-day Adventist church visited Lampedusa, considered to be the door of Europe for migrants coming mainly from Sub-Saharan countries. Lampedusa is a wonderful island in the Mediterranean, a touristic destination, a singular attraction. In the island there are volunteer associations, such as Mediterranean Hope, Askausi, the local Parish, along with a Forum composed of some residents who have been moved by this emergency situation.
